I found a really nice 100% cotton scarf with a charming retro plane illustration. I decided to make it into a pillow with some heavy weight natural look cotton for the backing and woolen pom poms on the edges. I added a zip to the side of a pillow so the cover can be taken off and washed... The pillow would look great on a couch, and especially good in childrens room.
